Monthly Metrics and Damages

Accreditation in the DPI

All measured Stakeholder Groups (Excavators, Locators, Facility Owner/Operators) will report monthly metrics to normalize their damage data. These metrics will be due by the end of the next month for the previous month (i.e. June metrics are due by the end of July). Locator and Facility Owner Operator metrics were approved in early 2024 and are being rolled out for entry this year.  If you have questions about the metrics or have feedback, please email dpi@commongroundalliance.com.

Metrics Requirements

The DPI Program Committee, through various task teams, is responsible for developing and refining all DPI metrics. These metrics are approved based on stakeholder consensus. Any feedback regarding the metrics can be sent to dpi@commongroundalliance.com.
